Gidget von Greiz is a delightful 4 month old German Shepherd puppy. We first met Gidget at the Santa Monica Airport. She had just flown in from Porterville on a private plane flown by volunteers. Gidget is a joyful, people-loving puppy who enjoys long walks anywhere her legs can carry her and playful wrestling matches with her foster brother. Kids are her absolute favorite and lights up when meeting them. She handled a recent visit with a 2.5-year-old child just beautifully. Gentle play, no jumping, just her sweetest self. She’d thrive in a home with little ones. She greets new people of all ages like they’re long-lost friends and has met dogs big and small with pure delight. Gidget is a friend to all. While she can be a bit hesitant initially in new environments, she looks to her humans for guidance and gains confidence every day. Smart as a whip and eager to make you proud, she already knows “sit” and "wait" and picks up new skills quickly. She’s going to be a big girl and will absolutely thrive with an active family who loves adventure, structure, and plenty of affection.
